He looked at Philip and said, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?" (John 14:9).
What about you? Do you know Him? My friend, he made you and therefore has the right to make the rules that you should live by, yet you dismiss Him.
He has sent neighbors, coworkers, teachers, and complete strangers to talk to you about your soul, yet you dismiss Him. He has made the Bible available for only one dollar and allowed it to be translated into English so that you can read it in a language you understand, yet you dismiss Him. He has even allowed for you to hear the Bible in formats such as cassettes, CDs, and mp3s, yet you don't care.
He has even allowed for you to live in a country that was founded on Godly principles, yet you are more fascinated by other cultures who bring in their own weird gods corrupting your minds to the point that now you don't even know which god to believe in anymore.
What will He have to do to get your attention? For some of you, He has allowed for you to lose a child, allowed for you to have cancer or some other fatal disease, allowed for you to be stripped of all that you have, and even allowed for some of you to go to prison, yet you will not make Him your Lord. Why are you so bent on not living for Him? Don't you think that the One who made you knows exactly how to make you have a fulfilling life?
Some of you even call yourselves Christians and go to church week after week hearing sermon after sermon, yet you live like a devil at the workplace. You lie, cuss, swear, cheat, flirt, fornicate, take the Lord's name in vain, and then put on your best outfit on Sundays and go sing in the choir. What will it take for God to get all of you? Don't you know that God has the ability to crush you to powder?
What makes you think that you can put God off now, call on Him some day and actually have a chance to do so? You are not even promised the next hour, nor do you have a clue what it will hold. Don't you realize that the God who suspends the sun and moon and stars in the sky without any wires or ropes, has the power to forgive you and make you His friend?
My fellow human, you can go ahead and resist, dismiss, and even plug up your ears from having anything to do with Jesus now, but know this - He will do the same to you later! "I never knew (put your name here)" (Matthew 7:23, 2 Thessalonians 1:8, 9).
