When an older brother molest his younger sister, sin has just ravaged your life...

When a son takes a little sniff of cocaine and then eventually starts stealing money out of your purse to get more, sin has just ravaged your life...

When a young son goes to try out for little league and his coach molests him, sin has just ravaged your life...

When a man finds out that his wife is having an affair with his best friend, sin has just ravaged your life...

When the minister that you trusted all of sudden is caught in a scandal, sin has just ravaged your life...

When parents have to take care of their daughter's children because their daughter sleeps around, sin has just ravaged your life...

When a Godly woman finds out that her husband of 30 years is leaving her for another woman, sin has just ravaged your life...

When you steal an answer off of someone else's test, sin has just ravaged your life...

When you lie about your income so that you can get government aid, sin has just ravaged your life...

Friend, how long does this list have to be? Unfortunately, it is quite long. This simple three letter word - S I N - has effectively wrecked all of our lives.

The same way you hated that bad thing that happened to you is similar to how much God hates sin. When He sees you crying and aching in pain, He knows it is because of sin.

So, the next time you are tempted to think that God is to be blamed because He doesn't stop or intervene when a child is molested or when a husband cheats on his wife, remember where to cast the blame. It is not owed to God. It is owed to sin.

God is the loving One. He saw that we were going to be born into these things and planned before the creation of this world to fix the problem - He sent his Son, Jesus Christ, who came and died for our sins and rose again from the grave conquering sin so that man doesn't have to live in sin anymore. What we have to do now is develop a personal relationship with His Son by repenting of our sins, turning away from them, and being born again in the Spirit.

"Wherefore, as by one man [Adam] sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many (Romans 5:12, 3:23, 5:15).

Are you ready to thank God for His Son, Jesus Christ? He is the only one who can heal you of your sins and the sins that others have committed that have affected your life.
